A half breed is one of a few popular methods to secure the off side of the cinch. It doubles around the cinch ring, with both ends running up through the rigging ring and back down through the cinch ring. The tongue of the cinch buckle passes through the holes on both ends of the half-breed to secure it in place at the appropriate adjustment.
Cut from premium 8-10 oz. hot-stuffed latigo, which is infused with oils and waxes at the tannery
Individually treated by hand with paraffin wax for even more durability and moisture resistance
Finished with Ray Holes saddle butter for extra condition

Saddle Half Breed
For best results and longevity, wipe down with a warm wet rag regularly to avoid excess sweat buildup. Condition with a conditioner that is solid at room temperature, such as Ray Holes Saddle Butter or mink oil.
